January is National Blood Donor Month and there is a critical need for blood. Someone needs it every few seconds in the U.S., and more than 45 million Americans would die without blood transfusions. According to the American Red Cross, about 38% of the U.S. population can donate blood–but only 10% do.
The Red Cross is currently testing all blood donations for COVID-19 antibodies. Your donation could be even more useful during the pandemic.
