Family service: Beginning at 7:00 p.m. this service is geared towards families of elementary age children however all are welcome. We use a specially created prayer book and the service features the voices of our junior choir, a story told dramatically by our rabbi, lots of music, and movement. It is about an hour in length. We celebrate birthdays during the month at this service.
Choir Service: This 7:30 p.m. service features the voices of our all volunteer choir. They practice weekly to enhance our service with their voices. There are always new pieces introduced and many like to come and hear our choir sing and even sing along with them. Rabbi will offer a sermon or discussion at this service.
Shabbat Alive: This 7:30 p.m. service features live music and is an upbeat service. Readings are kept to a minimum to allow the spirituality of music fill the sanctuary. Rabbi shares a brief teaching on this night. We also celebrate the month’s wedding anniversaries at this service.
Torah service: 4th Friday night of the month at 7:30 p.m., features a Torah service where we take the Torah from the ark, read from it, and discuss its significance for us today.
5th Friday: Generally is our Ask the Rabbi night beginning at 7:30 p.m. You can come with any question about Judaism and the informal Q and A is always fascinating.
Saturday morning Shabbat services:
Lay led minyan: every Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m., an intimate group gathers in the Religious school wing or sanctuary for a service with a lively discussion. Service is led by Larry Matalon. Great service for both newcomers and those with years of experience.
Bnei Mitzvah service: our students’ Bar and Bat Mitzvah take place on select Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend the worship service.
Tot Shabbat: offered on special Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. This service is for preschoolers and their families. We have lots of movement, story, and interactive music designed to teach our little ones about the Jewish holidays and Shabbat. There is a wonderful oneg (delightful snacks) that immediately follow.
